VNAIC Leadership Award
The VNAIC Leadership Award recognizes employees in management positions who have contributed to the success of our Agency on a daily basis. These nominees demonstrate the following ideals in their work: they are committed to the VNAIC, its mission and values; they provide an atmosphere of motivation and support of employees and all customers; they have low staff turnover and high job satisfaction of staff who report to them; their service has high customer satisfaction, and they have excellent outcomes for the services they provide. In addition, nominees for the Leadership Award will show successful financial performance in their office or department, will empower others, and mentor employees who will become future leaders.

Rebecca Kosko, Regional Home Health Director
Rebecca truly values staff by being positive, respectful, and professional. She is a mentor to many employees and is always available to help when needed. Rebecca is a great communicator with staff, patients, and families and solves problems with her heart as well as her mind.
Anne Tyer, Director of Home Health, Palm Desert
Anne directs staff in such a way as to achieve a high quality of care and employee satisfaction. She fosters an environment that supports employee retention and the Palm Desert home health program repeatedly receives written and verbal accolades from satisfied patients.
2011 LEADERSHIP AWARD RECIPIENT:
Helen Grove, Director of Hospice, Murrieta
Helen motivates her staff to become the best they can be by encouraging their education whether it is Hospice Certification or attaining advanced practice degrees. Her employees say, “She doesn’t treat us as if we can’t; she shows us how we can.” Helen leads by example.
