ADMINISTRATION:
Margaret Moss, Accounting Clerk
Over the years Margaret has worn many hats. She started out as our Accounting Clerk then was promoted to a Payroll Clerk. After several years, she needed to work part time and then returned to her role as Accounting Clerk. In this current position, she oversees our daily banking, filing, and assists our accounts payable and payroll staff. But most of all she is known to the accounting department as the “office organizer”.
Linda Williams, Data Processing Lead
Linda began in 2000 as a Data Entry Clerk and quickly moved her way up to her current position as Data Entry Lead. Linda wears many hats, entering visits, posting payments, making adjustments to accounts, just to name a few. Linda has proven to be a valuable asset to the Accounts Receivable team, and we’re very fortunate to have her working with us.

Angie Torres, Office Manager
Angie’s first position in the Palm Desert branch was a file clerk. She then transferred into the Insurance Utilization Review department when it was first developed at the branch level. Angie’s ability to learn new processes quickly got her noticed. She was the obvious choice when the Office Manager position needed to be filled. Her knowledge of both the clinical and clerical departments as well as her computer skills make her an invaluable asset to the branch. Angie maintains respect and is appreciated by her staff.
PALM DESERT HOSPICE:
Suzette Bastardi, Intake Coordinator
Suzette is the calm quiet voice on the phone that patients and their families hear when they call to inquire about Hospice. She is extremely knowledgeable and exudes an air of competence. Her name is often included in thank you notes we receive from families as they remember how kind and helpful she was when they were in crisis mode. Her co-workers appreciate her positive attitude and her ability to problem solve on difficult referrals. She follows through and works hard to maintain good relationships with our referral sources.
Susana Navarro, Home Health Aide
Susanna is a great team player, always willing to take on extra assignments and help her co-workers. Susanna is fluent in Spanish and often accompanies other team members on patient visits to interpret for the patients and families. We recently had a Spanish speaking family that Susanna made herself available to during the day as well as at night in case they needed questions answered. This is an example of Susanna often going above and beyond for her team members and our patients.

She now works in both areas and the Palliative Care Program, juggling the many demands of each with grace and professionalism.
Erica Sanchez, Intake Coordinator
Erica is truly a “Jack of all Trades”. Her difficult position requires multi-tasking at its best and exceptional organizational skills. Erica also spends many of her evenings as one of our Triage nurses too. She does not need loads of instructions, you show her once and she gets it. Erica tracks our managed care patients, schedules the Hospice Medical Directors visits, schedules and tracks crisis care hours, and most of all keeps information flowing in the office. Sometimes the Director states, she’s not sure who’s running the office, her or Erica.
